With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S9 just around the corner, SIM only deals once again come in to sharp focus. Grabbing the brand new flagship handset unlocked and combining it with a cheap standalone SIM plan is likely to be the most affordable way of owning the S9 when the prices are announced on Sunday.
So we've worked with one of the UK's leading smartphone retailers to offer TechRadar readers a quite brilliant exclusive SIM only deal. If you grab Vodafone's 50GB SIM from Mobile Phones Direct now, it will give you £132 cashback and the option of a year's subscription to Spotify Premium, the Sky Sports Mobile TV app or a NOW TV Entertainment Pass.
That's a pretty attractive proposition, considering that Spotify Premium would cost you £119.88 over the course of a year, and NOW TV Entertainment £95.88. While access to Sky Sports would ordinarily cost from £5.99 per month.
And the £132 cashback brings the £30 per month monthly payments down to an effective £19 per month. You can't get that much data cheaper anywhere else.

How to claim your cashback
It's a bit of a hassle, but Mobile Phones Direct gives a full explanation of how to claim back your cash. Every three months from June onwards, you'll claim a fifth of the total cashback sum – so £26.40 per instalment.
To claim, you have to fill out a cashback claims form which can be found in the ‘My Account’ section of the Mobile Phones Direct website. Claims must be received within 60 days from the date shown on the bill. Once approved, Mobile Phones Direct says that cashback is paid within 14 working days directly into your bank account.
It's also worth noting that the cashback becomes void if you disconnect from the network prior to making your payments.
